RIV-VEN. Del inglés riven: destruido, desgarrado, destrozado.
Un artista en solitario que comenzó su vida en Londres y terminó en Madrid. Empezó a tocar el piano a los 6 años, compuso e interpretó música durante toda su infancia y adolescencia, y se licenciÓ en música. Sin embargo, después se sucedieron años de silencio.

Hace muy poco, sintió la imperiosa necesidad de romper ese silencio y plasmar en palabras el dolor que ha sentido y que ve en el mundo que le rodea, combinándolas con una música potente, enérgica, inspiradora y atmosférica.

El resultado es una catarsis potente y bailable; cada pista es una montaña rusa única de líneas de bajo contundentes, baterías y melodías impactantes. Existen versiones cantadas, grabadas con la colaboración de talentosos vocalistas externos, y las inusuales versiones "desde el más allá" (beyond the grave) "susurradas" por el propio artista.

Fusionando elementos de electrónica alternativa, synthwave y synthpop, su música se sitúa en algún punto entre Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Pet Shop Boys y el electro alemán de principios de los 2000. Es una música cinematográfica, con conciencia social y una gran carga emocional: música para quienes sienten profundamente y piensan de forma crítica.

RIV-VEN. Fron riven: destroyed, torn apart, shattered.
A solo artist who began life in Londono and ended up in Madrid, he started to play the piano at age 6, wrote and performed music throughout his childhood and teenage years and took a music degree. But then years of silence followed.
 
Just recently, he felt a compelling need to break that silence and capture pain that he has felt and that he sees in the world around him in words, combining them with music that is powerful, energetic, uplifting and atmospheric.
 
The result is potent, danceable catharsis, each track a unique rollercoaster ride of strong basslines and drums and striking melodies. There are sung versions, recorded with talented external vocal collaboration and the unusual “beyond the grave” versions “whispered” by the artist.
 
Fusing elements of alt electronic, synthwave and synthpop the music sits somewhere between Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Pet Shop Boys and early 2000s German electro.
The music is cinematic, socially conscious and emotionally charged - music for those who feel deeply and think critically.
